Testimonials

To any potential life coaching clients of Cheryl Crabill’s:

I encourage you to invest yourself in her coaching. I found my time working with Cheryl to be very beneficial. Some of her best contributions were:

  • asking questions that allowed me to come to my own decisions
  • helping me to set goals that I could realistically achieve and then holding me accountable
  • providing a fresh viewpoint and new solutions to problems

Her positive outlook also provided a great role model. I strongly believe that Cheryl has set me up with tools that I will be able to use to improve my life for a long time to come.

Sincerely,
Medley Byers

I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Crabill for three months as her client. My
quality of life has been greatly improved after our coaching sessions.

During our first meeting, Cheryl helped me discover that my physical environment
was my biggest problem, and it was preventing me from enjoying life fully. This
was not a total surprise. As a mother of two children and working full time outside
my home, I have always been too busy to deal with the clutter in my house. Cheryl
assured me that she could help me with getting rid of clutter, better organizing my
space and time, getting through obstacles at work, and reconnecting with family
and friends. During each coaching phone call, Cheryl helped me set new goals for
the next week, such as being on time for my meetings, de-cluttering a specific area,
delegating tasks at work, writing long overdue thank-you notes to relatives, and
even planning something fun for myself. It was nice when she gave me a big cheer
on my accomplishments, and it was equally valuable when she helped me identify
the obstacles for those tasks I wanted to accomplish but did not in the past week.
Her insights, wisdom, and rich experience in life are priceless in helping me move
towards the direction I wanted to.

After working with Cheryl for three months, my home and my life have been totally
transformed. My home is now always neat and presentable for any unexpected
guests. Bills are organized and paid on time, no late or missed appointments, tax
returns are done long before the due date, etc. With my better-organized life, I
enjoy spending more time being with my family and friends rather than dealing with
crisis after crisis. With Cheryl’s help, I ultimately developed a system that would
help me maintain all my new good habits on a daily basis even after the coaching
session was over. The lessons that I learned from Cheryl will stay with me for a long
time in dealing with other issues in the future. I cannot recommend her more highly.

Updated

I was coached by Cheryl a year ago for three months, and it was very effective in improving my overall life satisfaction. Recently (in December 2011) I had the honor of working with Cheryl again for another month, specifically to work on getting ready for a new year and transitioning back to teaching after a semester’s break. I cannot believe how much I have accomplished!

Cheryl helped me get my teaching preparation in good order just before the holidays. I was able to thoroughly enjoy two weeks with my kids and friends without having to worry about work. Cheryl and I worked on setting up my weekly schedules, meals, and leisure. She even helped me with picking a profile photo for my webpage and organizing my closet. We also worked on goal setting for the new year. Now that I am two weeks into my new role as a working mom, I feel I made a really smooth transition — I am still cooking nutritious meal for my family, keeping my fitness routines, and maintaining social activities with my friends while working. I cannot be happier!

Even though I only worked with Cheryl for a month, I have made plans for the next six months with her help. Cheryl is a very good listener and she is full of positive energy. Her “can-do” attitude really helps me to unleash my own energy to accomplish some difficult tasks. I highly recommend her as a life coach and I would love to work with her again in the future.

I worked with Cheryl for 3 months during a time of major transition and challenge in my personal life. Cheryl helped me figure out what I was tolerating, what I should stop tolerating, and how to fix the things that I should stop tolerating. She helped me make my self-care more of a priority when I felt drained from taking care of everyone and everything else. She helped me set goals, both large and small, for how to make my life more the way I want it to be. Those goals could be as simple as taking the time to pack a healthy lunch for myself every day, or as long-term as developing better time management and strategies for dealing with difficult people. She held me accountable through our weekly conversations and with the assignments I had to work on each week. She was always kind and easy to talk to, but she never let me forget that I needed to be moving forward. She has an excellent memory and didn’t let me off the hook for anything! She cheered me on for my successes, and encouraged me when I would have a bad week. She always made sure that by the end of each conversation, I had a specific, workable plan for the next week. She helped me make my goals manageable so that I could move forward without feeling overwhelmed.

I highly recommend Cheryl to anyone who is at a time of transition or in a rut. She doesn’t do the work for you, but she helps you clarify your goals and illuminates the path to get you to your goals. She genuinely cares about your successes and your challenges, and you will look forward to your conversations with her each week. The “homework” that you do before your first session is extremely helpful, too.

I am very happy with my life at this point, but I would not hesitate to use Cheryl’s services again in the future if I need some additional support or somebody to hold me accountable for what I say I want with my life.
